Tales of victorian family of flies

What's going on here ...

There are no drugs in the world that could make me imagine a story about a fly family living in Victorian England. And even if it could, I don't know what would convince me to spend a lot of time on a concept, not being sure of its result, and then dozens of hours to implement such an absurd idea.
